Our new house. It’s nestled off the road with about 5 other rent houses, all rented by foreigners. One of our Lao friends said it looks like a “resort,” but I wouldn’t go that far.
We have a good size kitchen. The countertops are higher than most Lao homes. There is a free-standing cabinet and cabinets over the counters. We have a stove with no insulation so it heats the whole kitchen. And we have a medium size refrigerator. But we’ve cleaned the kitchen from top to bottom.
The living space is large. It’s very nice. The Lao lady in the picture is our landlady. She is very sweet and always wants to give us food.
As for the rest of the house, we have two bedrooms and two baths. So if you’re up for an exotic vacation or you just want to see us, we have room. I’ve loaded more pics on Facebook if you want to see more of the house and farm animals on our driveway and just outside of our house.
