Yes, this is exactly what it looks like and sounds like. Laundry in the bathtub. We have a laundry service at the hotel where we’re staying, but it’s kind of expensive to have them wash every piece of clothing that we own, so I’ve taken the bathtub route.
It’s definitely a group effort. I fill up the tub, pour in the Tide, rub the clothes together and let them soak. Then, I rinse them, Russell rings them and we hang them on a string with clothes pins that I found in the ELIC camp bins. Oh, the bonding we’re experiencing! Some of our teammates have asked us to borrow our “clothes-line” and clothes pins.
Any how, it gets the job done. Oh the experiences in South East Asia!

Sounds fun! Strange that the laundry service seems so expensive. At least it is a group building activity... hope yall have fun with that in Laos!

Yeah, i know! i think the laundry is more expensive here than in the states! everything here is cheap except the laundry and some taxis... that's where they get ya! you guys can let me borrow the clothes pins when I'm in Laos.
