Life is moving quickly for Bethany and me. We move out of our house in 7 days and we haven't pack a thing. We are, however, so thankful to have found renters. They are a young couple, and we will be able to rent the house to them partially furnished. June 8 we begin E-Team training. Bethany and I are leading a group of high school students to France for a service trip. When we come back to the States on July 2, we'll hit the ground running to visit family and friends. After two and a half weeks of visiting, we're off to Asia.
As most of you know, there has been a change in plans. Bethany and I will not be serving in China for the next two years. ELIC has asked us to join an effort in Laos. We have committed to serve four years. As planned, we will still be teaching in a university. As far as we can tell, we will be in southern Laos, at least for now.
Although we did not anticipate this change in direction, we have seen His hand guide us. And without the obedience to Him of friends and family partnering with us, it would be impossible for us to share His Good News with those who have never heard.
Also, Cofer's Chapel in Nashville, TN is having a service on Sunday, May 31 to commission our service to Him. I know that many of you are far away, but we would love for as many of our partners, friends, and family to join us. The service will begin at 10:00 a.m. The address is 3915 Franklin Pike, Nashville, Tennessee 37215.
Glad you guys have a blog. I subscribed and look forward to your updates.
